Education Program
Thousand of Liberians left their war-torn country and fled to the Ivory Coast. ER is partnering with LRTP/REAP to help these displaced children and young adults to successfully learn, stay in school and prepare for life. LRTP was started 12 years ago to provide basic education from Kindergarten through 12th grade and vocational skills training in computer science, bookkeeping, sewing, typing and arts and crafts. There are more than 130 students that currently attend the school which meets in a small house in the capital of Abidjan. Extreme Response is helping to purchase the land and expand the school.
