Extreme Kids » Belwop Children’s Rescue Center
The BELWOP Rescue Centre is a home to orphaned, abused and neglected children in Nyeri, Kenya.
BELWOP is the dream and vision of Veronica Mumbi. She quit her job to develop this home because of the great need among children that are living on the streets in Kenya. Her vision is for the thousands of children that don’t have anyplace to live, so she began this home and vision with this in mind.
The home is so much more than an orphanage; this is a FAMILY! Veronica’s vision is not just to provide them with the things these kids need to survive: food, clothing, a bed, medical attention and schooling. Her vision is to provide a family for them, so the greatest thing that can be given is LOVE and CARE. These kids are a family. They feel safe. They feel cared for. They have others that care about them. They don’t feel like they are alone. What a gift this is to these children and Veronica would like to see many more children come into the home to join this FAMILY.

The Extreme Kids Fund will partner with BELWOP to provide financially for all the things these children need to thrive in this home.
Join with us in supporting Veronica and BELWOPS vision of caring for kids that have been left with nothing.
Feature Story
Peter is a 7 year old healthy and handsome boy, he is in primary school class one. Peter was only seven months old and his only sister Judy was four years when their lives changed drastically. The two poor kids became orphans after their own biological father brutally murdered their mother, threw the poor kids out of the house they called home and set it on fire. He then took off intending to run away from the law but irate neighbors took pursuit and caught up with him and applied mob justice on him killing him instantly. The two siblings were left under the care of an over 90 year old grandmother who was hardly able to take care of herself leave alone the kids,a good Samaritan/neighbor who could not stand the suffering of the two little kids in the hands of the old and sickly grandmother heard from a reliable source that a certain organization had come to town and its mission was to give home and hope to such children, she did not hesitate but came immediately to belwop and after pouring her story which incidentally was all over the media, I without any delay accompanied her and took the two poor kids to the place they have since called home and the people they have since called family.
