Celebrations in Philippines

A team of fifteen travel to Manilla to put on parties for hundreds of children.

Twelve volunteers from Sunrise Church in Sacramento, CA, along with ER workteam leaders Dave & Donna Crossen & Ed Newman, made the long trip to Manila to put on three parties in conjunction with ER partner Youth Mobilization.

The first party was for a group of around 90 street children. The following day they put on a party for 300-400 children from the Cavite Dump. The last party was for 250 children from several squatter areas. They all played games, saw a puppet show, did face painting, photos and crafts. Each child received a gift bag and the adults received food bags.
